Reading Group
Promoting the Literary Arts
“To chart our future, we must understand the forces that shape our present.”
The Virtual Reading Group convened by Daisry Obal seeks to engage and learn from the contributions of many diverse forces and provide a platform for intellectual exchanges across country, regions and continent/s. The 2022 Series focuses on modern African literature contexts, reviewing fiction and non-fiction narratives from North, East, West & Southern Africa.
Reading Groups are a great way to broaden reading choices while promoting the literary arts, a reading culture and inspiring this generation to tell our own stories! Daisry’s Virtual Reading Group meets every last Saturday of the month. Join us, as we interrogate ideas about the world we live in and the future we are yet to embrace.
